well when my now husband and i first got together he was 14 and i was 17. i usually dated 22 year olds. but he was different. i don't care what people think. yes, his parents hated me too. But now we're married, and we have 3 beautiful babies. we've been together 6 years, and still going strong. it really does depend on the person. it's so easy for some one to say "pervert" without knowing the situation! so good luck!
