Lost Youth

I have lately been consumed by petty problems that I thought held relevence but all of it, the boy issues, the class issues, the stress it all seems so trivial now. I just recently found out a friend of mine passed away at the age of 19. Thats my age. She died of a failed heart transplant and it really put things into perspective. I learned to cherish the ones around you, cherish the moments you have for they are what really matter. I think she would be happy knowing that I was able to learn this even though we didn't get a chance to know each other that well. Unfortunetly, our time was cut short. I just wanted you to know that your smile is an inspiration to me. I will never forget it. Thanks.
